A 18.5 kg ball is thrown at an angle of 49° above the horizontal off of a building such that its initial potential energy is 449 J, and the initial kinetic energy is 458 J.

Once the ball is flying in its arc, what will be the potential energy of the ball when the kinetic energy is 71.1 J?

    Explanation:

    Total energy (Kinetic + Potential) remains same for the ball

    So,

    449 + 458 = 71.1 + Ep

    Ep = 835.9
