    We can't calculate the acceleration until we know the units

    of your force and your mass.

    F is only equal to M·A if your 'M' is in kilograms and you 'F' is in newtons.

    If your force is in, say, pounds, and your mass is in, like, metric tons,

    then we would need a slightly different equation.
