    In physics, a force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. It is calculated by the equation: F = ma where m is the mass and a is the acceleration.

    F = ma

    F = (100) (26.8 - 0 / 2.8)

    F = 957.14 N

    Power is the rate of doing work. It is the amount of energy consumed per unit time. I think what is ask in the second question is work which is force times the distance.

    W = Fd = 957.14 (37.52) = 35911.89 J
