Pretend for a day your non-dominant hand is broken and you can't use of it. Pay attention to the activities you do every day. You can even simulate a break by wrapping an ace bandage (not to tight) on your hand. What can you no longer do because of the loss in mobility? Imagine what patient's must experience with long-term mobility loss. How would you have to adapt? How can you assist patients as an MA with mobility loss?
