    The radio broadcasts to all radio units through signals in the form of radiowaves which are electromagnetic waves. Each of these wave can be measured in wavelengths from crest to crest, or from one amplitude to the next. To, determine the length of wavelength of the radiowave, we use the relationship:

    c = λν, where c is the speed of electromagnetic waves equal to 3*10⁸ m/s, λ is the wavelength, and ν is the frequency. The unit of frequency is s⁻¹ or Hertz. 1 Hertz = 1000 mHz, thus 3 mHz = 0.003 Hz. Substituting the values:

    3*10⁸ m/s = (λ) (0.003 Hz)

    λ = 1*10¹¹ m
