Which force plays the biggest role in keeping the planets in orbit?

    Gravitational forces! they all orbit around the sun, because it has so much mass that it's gravity can hold enough of the other planets to keep the solar system flowing in a circle (the circular motion is most likely caused by the fact that the sun is round.)
