A box is dropped onto a conveyor belt moving at 3.40 m/s. If the coefficient of friction between the box and the belt is 0.270, how long will it take before the box moves without slipping

    The newton law of motion said

    Force = mass * acceleration

    The friction force said

    a = u. g

    a = 0.270 * 9.81

    a=2.65m/s^2

    Now applied the kinematics equation

    v = u + at

    v=3.40 and u = 0

    Now

    t = 3.40/2.65

    t=1.28 seconds
