How does laser differ from ordinary light?

Laser light significantly differs from ordinary light. Photons of laser light are organized in a special manner, in contrary to ordinary light (in this case photons do not form any characteristic pattern). What is also important, laser light is monochromatic (ordinary light is not) and is 'diffused' in specific direction.
