In the physics of trajectories, complimentary angles have the same range: for example, projectiles launched from 30 degrees and 60 degrees with the same initial speed will land at the same horizontal location. When shooting a basketball during a game, what would be the advantages and disadvantages for both the offense and defense of each trajectory: the low angle trajectory such as 30 degrees, and the high angle trajectory, such as 60 degrees?

In complimentary angles range are same for same initial speed.

For low angle trajectory it is easier to aim for basket such that we can aim for square near basket but we can get a tap while shooting.

For High angle trajectory it is easier to avoid tap because ball gains appreciable amount of height as soon as it launches but it is difficult to aim using low angle trajectory.
