    (C) 2 m/s²

    Explanation:

    Given that,

    The force of the dog, F = 4 N

    The mass of the dog, m = 2 Kg

    The acceleration of the dog, a = ?

    The force acting on a body is defined as the product of its mass 'm' that causes an acceleration 'a' in the body.

    The relation between them is given by the equation

    F = m x a newton

    ∴ a = F / m

    Substituting the given values in the above equation,

    a = 4 N / 2 Kg

    = 2 m/s²

    Hence, the acceleration of the dog is, a = 2 m/s²
