    The main different types of mass movements of rock and soil are Falls, Slides, Creeps and Flows.

    Explanation:

    Mass movement is the movement of the section of hills and cliffs slopes down because of gravity pull. It can be very dangerous involving highly catastrophic disaster. They can happen very quickly involving entire hillsides. A Fall or Topple happens when rocks or sediments fall from air and land on the bottom of the slope. They happen very quickly and they don't need any water for lubrication. The sudden movement of rock or soil in a large single mass along a slippery zone is called as Slides. The slippery zone is made of wet sediments. Creep is a slow movement of rocks or soils that would go for a long period or over centuries. It can be found only by the leaning fences and poles. The mixture of water, rock and sediment is called is called as Flows which can move very quickly and bury entire village.
