    The lunar eclipses happen when the Sun moon and earth aligned very closely. When lunar eclipse happen the moon passes directly behind the earth. The lunar eclipses don; t happen during every full moon because the moon orbit is inclined to earth from a very small angle and the Sun earth and moon don't aligned in same line most of the time so the lunar eclipses don't happen every full moon
