According to Newton s second law, when the same force is applied to two objects of different masses,

    B. The formula is F = m * a Since F is a constant for both objects and m is different for the two objects, a has to be different too. Let's say the force is 10N, the mass of the smaller object is 5 and the mass of the bigger object is 10. This gives you 10 = 5 * a and 10 = 10 * a. To make these formulas right, you have to fill in for a and you get 10 = 5 * 2 for the smaller object and 10 = 10 * 1 for the bigger object. As you can see, the smaller object gets a bigger acceleration than the bigger object
