    Given:

    Dimensions of pool,

    L = 32 ft

    B = 16 ft

    H = 8 ft

    Volume of the rectangular pool = L * B * H

    = 32 * 16 * 8

    = 4096 ft^3

    converting ft^3 to inches^3,

    4096 ft^3 * (12 in) ^3 / (1 ft) ^3

    = 7077888 in^3

    1 gallon = 231 in^3

    1 in^3 = 1/231 gallon

    7077888 in^3 = 1/231 * 7077888

    = 30640.2 gallons

    Volumetric rate = 8 gal/min

    Volumetric rate = volume/time

    Time = 30640.2/8

    = 3830.026 mins

    Time, t = 2.66 days.
