If a hazelnut falls from a tree when the wind is blowing north, where will it land?

    The answer to this question would be: on the North of the tree.

    Without the wind, the hazelnut will fall near the tree but wind can apply force to the hazelnut. The force given by the wind will push the hazelnut into a direction, which is north in this case. Using the tree as a reference, then the hazelnut should be north from the tree.
