    Explanation:

    A uniform electric field is one where the intensity of electric field is same through out.

    In non - uniform electric fields the intensity or the strength of the electric field is more where the lines of electric fields are close to each other and weak field is represented by the region where the lines of electric fields are not close to each other.

    Thus when the lines of electric fields are parallel to each other the intensity of the field or the strength of the electric field is same through out the region or we can say that electric field is uniform in that region.
