Snoopy throws a ball horizontally at 25 m/s from a roof that is 15 m high to hit the cat next door. The ball misses the cat. How far does the ball travel before hitting the ground? How long does it take to hit the ground?

    Δy = v₀ t + ½ at²

    Given (in the x direction):

    v₀ = 25 m/s

    t = 1.75 s

    Find: Δx

    Δx = v₀ t + ½ at²
