Zero waste can be achieved only in clean source of energies such as solar, wind, tidal energy etc. For example - a society that has zero solid waste production shall be achieving this either by using reusable or disposable product or by efficient waste reduction practices.

    Thus, if no waste is generated from any kind of human activity it shall be considered as zero waste generation or "leave no trace"
