Describe the difference between the current from a battery in the current from electric socket.

    The current you get from a battery is called direct current or DC. The flow of direct current is in one direction.

    The current that you get from an electric socket is called alternating current or AC. The flow of alternating current reverses from time to time. In addition, because the current flows backwards periodically, this also causes the voltage to change.
