Why does each mineral have their own property, different from every other mineral?

    Mineral have their own property because they have different composition and structure compared to every other minerals. For instance, you have a graphite and a diamond. Both have the same basic element, carbon. However, they differ in the complexity of their molecular structure and how surroundings has affected their formation.
