A car travels from City A to City B to the north. It takes 4 hours, and the road mileage is 200 miles. The map shows that the cities are only 80 miles apart (straight-line distance). Calculate the average velocity and give the direction

    Would it be that your going 20miles per hour because it takes 4 hours and the distance from city a to b is 80 so divide 80 by 4 to get your average velocity per hour. which is 20miles per hour. to the north
