Sir Issac Newton has given three laws of motion. He has also given Newton's law of gravitation.
The first law of Newton describes the force acting on an object either it is at rest or in motion untill an external force is applied on it.
The second law of Newton gives the magnitude of force acting on the object. The force acting on it is equal to the product of force and its mass.
The third law of Newton explains the impact of force. It says that two objects exert equal and opposite force on each other.
