An ideal gas occupies a volume of 0.60 m3 at 5.0 atm and 400. K. What volume does it occupy at 4.0 atm and a temperature of 200. K?

    V1 = 0.60 m3, P1 = 5.00atm, T1=400K

    V2 = ? m3, P2 = 4.00atm, T2=200K

    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    V2 = T2P1V1/T1P2 = 200*5*0.60/400*4.00 = 600/1600

    V2 = 0.38 m3
