    Work = (force) x (distance)

    Since we're lifting, the 'force' is the weight of the apple.

    Weight = (mass) x (gravity)

    Weight = (0.180 kg) x (9.8 m/s^2)

    Weight = 1.764 Newtons

    2.0 J = (1.764 N) x (distance)

    Distance = 2.0J / 1.764N

    Distance = 1.13 meters
