A gas has an initial volume of 24.6 L at a pressure of 1.90 atm and a temperature of 335 K. The pressure of the gas increases to 3.50 atm, and the volume of the gas increases to 31.3 L.

    According to law of ideal gas

    P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂

    in this case,

    P₁ = 1.9 atm

    V₁ = 24.6 L

    T₁ = 335 K

    P₂ = 3.5 atm

    V₂ = 31.3 L

    T₂ = ?

    T₂ = (P₂V₂T₁) / (P₁V1)

    T₂ = (3.5 * 31.3*335) / (1.9*24.6) = 785.18 K
