What do you call a wave that is made up of electromagnetic feilds

    In general, no matter what its wavelength is, you can call it

    an electromagnetic wave.

    If you happen to know its wavelength, then you can be more

    specific, and call it a radio wave, an infrared wave, a light wave,

    an ultraviolet wave, an X-ray, or a Gamma ray, depending on

    what range of wavelengths it's in.
