Compare semiconductors with both metals and nonmetallic in terms of their ability to conduct electricity, and state where semi conductors are located on the periodic table

    Answer: In metals electrical resistivity increases with temperature. Semiconductors conduct like metals above a critical temperature and do not conduct below that temperature. Non-conductors do not electricity. Non-metals do not conduct like metals, for example, carbon as graphite conducts electricity and gets better (resistivity decreases) with increasing temperature.
