Was ruthersfords model of an atom incorrect or incomplete

    It was incomplete.

    Rutherford's Model was right about the central nucleus.

    It was right on the charges on the central nucleus and that on the empty space of the atom.

    But it could not answer why the revolving electron does not collapse into the nucleus of the atom.

    So it was incomplete.

    Rutherford's model of an atom was incomplete because he got the right info about the protons and electrons, but he still needed the neutrons
