Bernoulli's principle states that an increase in speed of a fluid is coupled by a decrease in pressure or the potential energy of the fluid. Hydraulic systems are systems which apply pressure transmission in fluids by following the pascals principle (pressure in fluids is transmitted equally to all parts provided the fluid is in compressible). Therefore, it is not true that the hydraulic systems use Bernoulli's principle but instead they use pascals principle.
