A football player with a mass of 85 kg wears a uniform and helmet that have a mass of 4.5 kg. The football player moves at 2.1 m/s. What is the total momentum of the football player and uniform?

    Momentum = Mass * Velocity

    Total mass = 85 + 4.5 = 89.5 kg

    Velocity = 2.1 m/s

    Total momentum = Total Mass * Velocity

    = 89.5 kg * 2.1 m/s

    = 187.95 kgm/s or 187.95 Ns
