If you drive at an average speed of 54 mph for the first 41 minutes of your trip and then drive at an average speed of 59 mph for the next 52 minutes how many miles did you drive total?

    Just use the equation d=rt, but remember to convert minutes into hours! Find the miles traveled in the first part of the trip and the second part separately, then add them together to get the total amount of miles.
