A stone is dropped from a height of 7.70 m how fast is it going when it is 5.25 m above the ground

    1/2mv^2 = mgh

    1/2v^2 = ghv^2 = 2gh

    v = root (2gh) v = root (2*9.81 * (7.7-5.25)) = root (48.069) = 6.933 ... ≈ 6.93 ms^-1
