    I'm using 1m = 3.28084 ft

    1 yd = 3 ft

    100 yd = 300 ft

100 m = 328.084 ft the soccer field is longer

    by 28.084 ft

    = 9.36 yards

    = 8.56 meters

The percentage of 100m compared to 100 yd is the same as

the percentage of 1m compared to 1yd.

    1m / 1yd = 3.28084 ft / 3 ft

    = 1.0936

The soccer field is 9.36% longer.
