Why use units with your number? Why is putting a unit with your number important? Based on your reading in this lesson and some extra research, create a response with an example included.

    Units give the definition of what the number is. If you say, John walked 60 ... You would be wondering he walked 60 what? Kilometers or metres? Is it long or short? but when I add the units it would be more clear to us what we are measuring. Basically a number without units is useless. I hope this answered your question!

    The reason you should always use units with your numbers is that without units you have no idea what my 5 means. is it 5 L or 5 km
