An air conditioner works with a refrigerator system. We can observe that this system works by following the principle of energy conservation which is: "Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed". Therefore the operation of the air conditioner occurs when the air transmits thermal energy between two environments, thus the cooling occurs. This happens when air from the outside environment is captured by the air conditioner and through a condenser the air becomes liquid. And so the liquid is subjected to an evaporator system that when turned into gas and released decreases the temperature of the external environment.
