    Inductive reasoning is where a conclusion is made based on observations. It involves looking for patterns and observation. Like, Sherlock Holmes. Deductive reasoning is a conclusion that is made based on previously accepted general statements. For example, if your got sister got yelled at for leaving the lights on and you left the lights on, you use deductive reasoning to think that you will most likely get yelled at, too.
