"Water particles travel with the wave" is not true about a wave in the open ocean.

    Option: C

    Explanation:

Particles that collide will bounce off each other while waves that collide pass through each other and arise unaffected. However overlapping waves can interfere-where a trough overlaps a crest the wave may entirely vanish. This can be shown as pieces of a wave in a screen move through closely spaced holes.

Electromagnetic waves trigger the electrical and magnetic fields to oscillate. It is worth noting that all waves are transmitting energy, however they don't. For an instance, when a ball is put on a pond's surface as ripples pass across it, the ball moves up and down with the wave but not outward.
