Last week you determined what wavelength of light works best for measuring p-nitrophenol in solution using a spectrophotometer. you then determined the extinction coefficient for p-nitrophenol in solution. what is the third parameter we will optimize for our protocol before we go on to our actual experiment?

    Spectrophotometry is a method used to measure how much a chemical substance absorbs light by measuring the intensity of light as a beam of light passes through sample solution. the basic principle is that each compound absorbs over a certain range of wave length.
