If the breakers at a beach are separated by 5 m and hit shore with a frequency of 0.3 Hz, at what speed are they traveling?

    Wave speed = (frequency) x (wavelength)

    = (0.3 Hz) x (5 m)

    = 1.5 m-Hz = 1.5 m/s.
