Austin kicks a soccer ball with an initial velocity of 18.0 m/s at an angle of 35.0°. What are the horizontal and vertical components of the initial velocity? Round your answers to the nearest tenth.

    The other answer is right but the answer is rounded to the nearest tenth, therefore the answer for the first is 14.7 m/s. And the second answer is 10.3 m/s.

    The initial horizontal component is 18 cos (35) = 14.745 m/s (rounded)

    The initial vertical component is 18 sin (35) = 10.324 m/s (rounded)
