Assuming constant acceleration, the distance travelled in the first 4.5s is:

    0.5*5.0*4.5 = 11.25m

The distance travelled in the next 4.5s is:

    5.0*4.5 = 22.5m

    The total distance travelled is:

    11.25 + 22.5 = 33.75m
