What is the escape velocity from a red giant with a mass of 1msun and a radius of 150 rsun?

    V = √ (2GM/R)

    where,

    G = Universal gravitational Constant = 6.67 * 10^ (-11) Nm^2/Kg^2

    M = Mass

    R = Radius

    So, we get, using given values:

    Given:

    m = 1 * mass of Sun = 1.9891*10^30 kg

    R = 150 * Radius of Sun = 695500km

    v = √ (2*6.67*10^ (-11) * 1.9891*10^30kg/695500000m)

    so, v = 617671.632719m/s
