0.44 m. The kinetic energy of the particle is 3.7 J. What

is the magnitude of the net force on the particle?

    KE = ½ m v²

    F = m v² / r

    Therefore:

    F = 2 KE / r

    F = 2 (3.7 J) / (0.44 m)

    F ≈ 17 N
