Discuss the relationship between size and weight of an object

    To put size and weight in scientific terms, this is technically volume and mass. Volume is the space the object takes up, while the mass is how the molecules weigh in a confined space.

    There is no relationship whatsoever between the size

    and weight of an object.

    It's true that if you have ONE object, then cutting it in half

    reduces its weight by half, and adding another identical object

    to it doubles its weight.

    But if I simply tell you the size of an object in my house, then

    you have no way to estimate its weight. And vice versa ... if

    I tell you its weight, you have no way of guessing its size.
