One bus travels 55 mph another 35 mph how long will it be until they are 400 mi apart

    Impossible to tell if you dont know their starting position and direction of travel

    assuming they start in teh same place and travel in opposite directions

    v*t=d - - velocity times time equals distance

    55 (t) + 35 (t) = 400

    solve for t
