    Answer: option D). The objects have the same acceleration.

    The acceleration of both objects is g (acceleration of gravity).

    In freefall the only force acting is the attraction of the earth (gravity). There is not air resistance. The acceleration is not dependent either of the mass or the surface area of the object.
