If a moon on jupiter has 1/8 the mass of the earth and 1/2 the earth's radius, what is the acceleration of gravity on the planet's surface?

    Ans : The acceleration of gravity on the planet's surface is 5 m/s^2 g=GM/R^2 M=1/8*M_earth R=1/2R_earth so the g for the planet is equal to 1/2 g_earth
