A projectile is fired at an angle of 55.0° above the horizontal with an initial speed of 35.0 m/s. what is the magnitude of the horizontal component of the projectile?

    The fraction of the velocity along the horizontal direction is given by the cosine of the angle. So 35cos (55) = 20.075m/s
