Why does a wet towel spread out and hung outside on a windless day dry faster than a wet towel left rolled up in a plastic bag?

    If a wet towel is rolled up in a plastic would dry slower than a wet towel spread out and hung outside on a windless day because the water that the towel absorbed has nowhere to go while the water that the wet towel spread out and hung outside on a windless day absorbed has somewhere to go. (evaporation)
