    To calculate the maximum height, we can use:

    2as = v² - u²; where v is 0 at the maximum height, a is - 9.81 m/s² and u is 22.5 m/s

    2 x - 9.81s = - (22.5) ²

    s = 25.8 m, your answer is correct.

    The time of flight of the ball can be given by:

    v = u + at; v = 0 at max height

    0 = 22.5 - 9.8t

    t = 2.30 seconds

    It is caught at its maximum height so its time in the air is 2.30 seconds.
